Pastor & First Lady – Straightway Ministries

Pastor Alan Spencer Sr. is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is married to First Lady Esther Spencer and has four adult children(Edith, Alan Jr, Michael and Kimberly), nine grandchildren. Elder Alan Spencer was baptized in Jesus’ Name and received the Holy Ghost in 1981.

He is an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Association (PCAF), Inc and serves as Pastor of Straightway Ministries, Inc and Second Assistant pastor of the Full Gospel True Mission Church, Inc. under the dynamic leadership of Bishop Gilbert H. Edwards, Sr. Elder Spencer is a 1991 graduate of the Evangelical Teachers Training Association (ETA) of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Association, Inc. He has held the following positions at Full Gospel True Mission Church: Deacon, Brotherhood Vice President and Youth Vice President. He is presently functioning as the Administrative Board Chairman.

Elder Spencer is also an active member of the Eastern and Southern States Council of the PCAF serving as Treasury of Home Mission and Brotherhood Auxiliaries and is member of the Ministerial Staff Committee.

Secularly, Elder Alan Spencer Sr has 28 years of service with the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services. He currently serving as a Program Manager of Employment Service in Rockville, Maryland. He administers and interprets federal and state regulation in helping Montgomery County residence by promoting and ensuring the health and safety of the residents and helping to build individual and family strength and self-sufficiency.

Pastor Alan Spencer is a faithful and consecrated to the calling of service to the body of Christ and to the teaching and preaching of the Word of God.
